Next week – video!

Camellia’s adventure calls for video, so I’m going to give it a try. We’ll find out on Monday whether I can do it.

In the meantime, here I am in (on web cam footage) in my garage workshop. You can’t see into the lighted cube, but Camellia is in there, in, out, and under her boat.

That’s my dog, Sydney, getting in on the action.

See you next week!

Please see the Credits page for a list of credits of the dolls and other items in these posts.

Episode 8: Lily and the case of the missing doll, part 1

Lily has less of an adventure and more of an adventurous life. Her story begins with a little mystery and a small client.

Lily is an old-fashioned kind of doll, so I’ve tried to avoid using too much photoshop wizardry with her photos. Instead of photoshoping in elements and backgrounds, I’m printing out photos and placing them in the shot.

Here’s what Lily’s setup looks like, out in my garage workshop.

One of the photos I’ve added to Lily’s world is my mom reading a book. Here’s my mom, over the years, book or newspaperimg_0090 in hand.
